Award Winners
While we may be one of the smallest CAMRA branches in the country, we are blessed with a mix of fabulous pubs. Encompassing cosy rural retreats, seaside inns with a view and thriving town centre hostelries, our pubs are more than just buildings; they are the beating hearts of our communities.
From that perfectly pulled pint of cask ale to the simple pleasure of a warm welcome, the Yorkshire Wolds CAMRA awards recognise the landlords and staff who go above and beyond.
Here, in our Hall of Fame, we celebrate the venues that set the gold standard for real ale and cider, and keep our local traditions thriving. Below, you’ll find all our award winners from years gone by, along with regional and even national award winners.

Yorkshire Wolds CAMRA Pub of the Year
It was double delight for Three B’s Micropub in Bridlington, as the town centre venue was named both Pub of the Year and Cider Pub of the Year, to add to its many accolades. With Three B’s moving to a new location in summer 2026, there will certainly be plenty to celebrate for husband and wife team Mark and Cheryl Bates.

Finishing runner up was another perennial favourite for Bridlington real ale drinkers - Old Ship Inn. Located in Bridlington Old Town, this warm and welcoming pub was the venue for the CAMRA Yorkshire Regional Meeting in 2025. Congratulations to Lena and team.

Yorkshire CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year
Despite missing out on the Yorkshire Wolds Pub of the Year crown this time out, there were more reasons to celebrate, as Three B’s Micropub was named Cider Pub of the Year for the whole Yorkshire region. In a county not well-known for its cider, Three B’s continues to be a “must-visit” for cider drinkers, not just from Yorkshire, but from across the country.

Yorkshire Wolds CAMRA Pub of the Year
After reopening in 2024 and bringing new life to town centre premises, Moon Tap was awarded top spot in our annual Pub of the Year competition. Offering a selection of real ales, including some that are brewed in-house at the Bridlington Brewery, this delightful hostelry has helped cement Bridlington’s reputation as a real ale destination. Congratulations to Julie and team!

In what was a very close competition, 2024 winner Three B’s Micropub was named runner up, adding to its ever-growing list of branch, regional and national accolades. Well done to Mark and Cheryl.

With its unusual layout, full of quirky rooms and charming character by the bucketful, not to mention a very well-kept selection of cask ales and ciders, Board Inn, Bridlington Old Town came in third place. Congratulations to Gary and team.

Yorkshire Wolds CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year
It was almost a case of “the same again” as far as our top 3 cider pubs were concerned. Although this time, there was a reshuffle in the pack.
Taking the title for the second year running was Three B’s Micropub, followed by Board Inn and Moon Tap. With such strong competition in our branch area, it certainly bodes well for lovers of real cider and perry.

CAMRA National Pub of the Year
In what turned out to be a hugely successful year, Three B’s Micropub made it all the way through to the highly prestigious CAMRA Pub of the Year final. Just four pubs out of an estimated 55,000 across the UK made it into the final judging and, despite missing out on the top spot, Three B’s was honoured to be named amongst such esteemed company - a huge coup, not just for owners Mark and Cheryl Bates, but for Bridlington and the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Yorkshire CAMRA Pub of the Year
Picking up accolades like they were going out of business, Three B’s Micropub was also named Yorkshire Pub of the Year. For a county that is synonymous with its beer-drinking culture (flat caps and bitter put firmly to one side!), it was an enormous achievement for this small but mighty micropub.
Yorkshire Wolds CAMRA Pub of the Year
Scooping the top award in our branch pub of the year competition was, of course, Three B’s Micropub. Congratulations to Mark and Cheryl in what turned out to be a monumentous year!
In second place came Old Ship Inn. Well done Lena and team. And, in third position, came Spread Eagle in Driffield. A cosy corner pub at the heart of the community (home to many local sports teams), this fabulous hostelry has gained a growing reputation for cask ale. Well done to Deano and team.

James Dean (Deano) with Spread Eagle's third-place certificate.
