In a result that’s anything but "bitter," The Butchers Dog in Driffield has officially been crowned Yorkshire Wolds CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year 2026 Runner Up.

On Saturday 11th April, Committee Chair Jonquil Beynon and Treasurer/GBG Coordinator Alan Hutchison were on hand to present landlady Nat Waudby with her certificate (and celebrate with a pint or two!).

While they might have missed out on the top spot by a pip, The Butchers Dog team are celebrating a massive win for the local craft cider scene in Driffield and the Wolds. And we'll certainly raise a glass to that!
