Two bar areas accessed by separate front entrances with a traditional wooden floor served by one through bar. Large dining room at the rear. Rear access is through the arch into the beer garden. Darts and Ring-o-Bull available. The frontage still carries the John Smiths logo and is painted in the colours which the brewery is associated with (green).

The pub has recently reintroduced real ale, currently with one beer, with plans for another ale in the near future.
