According to the latest edition of CAMRA's Pub Heritage Bulletin, the Station Buffet at Bridlington Railway Station will reopen in spring 2026 as "Belschnickel Bahnhof".

Closed in December 2019, the Station Buffet is just one of two unaltered licensed station buffets on the main national rail network, surviving from the pre-WWII era. Kevin Berthold of the Belschnickel Brewery intends to serve four own-label beers (brewed on premises) alongside three cask ales on rotation.
